I am the KING of the day!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

*dum di di dum* Introducing the King of the Day, Chevy! ;) I get this pic from my fren after selling her this puppy. Chevy is now 3 months old (and still counting) and what mades me wanted to post this pic up here was when I saw the filename for this pic was changed to Chevy The Lioness. It straight away struck my mind with the song "Oh I just can't wait to be King"! So while Mr. DKBU is not here, I can at least kacau here a bit before he comes back and start uploading the pics of the female pussy that he's hunting now in Korea *hee hee* right?

intruding for the..err.... fourth time?

There you go, caRie was transformed into a fish that suffers from short term memory lost. But Dory is kinda cute so.. caRie is okay with it.. but.. err... DKBU transformed from a pussy into a roaring lion! *hee hee* Anyway this lion will leave to Korea to find it's lioness and we shall all just pray and wish him for the best of lucks, right guys? ;) Well well, at times I am glad that he is no longer a pussy, hee hee, else he might just use fishy Dory as a bait to get his cute lil female pussy, right DKBU? :D

Lion will be leaving so who'll be the king for the next whole entire week? Hmm... *dum di di dum*

caRie sings, " Oh I just can't wait to be king!"

Anyone seen Riverdance?

Riverdance - The Show made its debut performance in Malaysia last year but most unfortunately I didn't get a chance to watch it live. Now I got da video... hehehe... will watch it after I return from my Korean trip. Anyone seen Riverdance? What are your comments?

Anyways, I've seen Dance Of Desire in Genting in May 2004. The starting scene was so explosive and got me awed! The dance moves were incredible! How can they tap dance so smooth and so fast?!

After the show, we had a photo session with the performers.

Performers of Dance Of Desire in Genting

My rating for Dance Of Desire: 5/5 (It's a MUST SEE!)

Question: Can Riverdance match Dance Of Desire?

Mamaking at Mosin

Had a mamak session at Mosin TTDI near the IBM yesterday nite.

We had this mamak session because we had not met for a long long time (secondary school friends) and also to celebrate belated birthdays for October babies . =)

There was quite good considering that we started calling people on Tuesday morning. =)

Well, we started about 9pm, the nite started slow, we were waiting for Shu Hwee to arrive (the star of the day). Unfortunately everyone loss hope after waiting for her for so long. =P

We chatted and chatted. There was alot of catching up to do. Mark San entertained us with his amazing stories =P Well, everyone is doing very well I guess. Everyone seems to have achieved something significant. That's great!

It was getting late for the girls (about 11:30pm), they need their beauty sleep =P Our tai kar jie, Poh Peng the 'CON'sultant paid the drinks and food for everyone (RM40 leh) Everyone! Please stand up and thank our official 'CON'sultant =P The girls left. After about half an hour some of the guys left.

Close to 1:00am, everyone left, remaining Kelvin and me. Lotsa of things to catch up since I have known Kelvin since Standard 2. We chatted and chatted until almost 1:40am. Woah!... time really flies man.... when you're having a great converstion with a old friend.... ^_^

Reach home about 2am... do some packing and straight to dreamland... zzzzz....

By the way, Shu Hwee if you're reading this, we prepared cakes and presents for you. But since you did not turn out, we sapu the cake and presents =P

That's all for now.

Of Ladders, Bourne and The Doctor

What a crazy weekend! Went for a seminar on improving commnunication skills on Saturday morning at a hotel near Kotaraya. Learned a lot of new things... hehehe... Tried calling Neeraj (met him during the Kuala Selangor trip) in the afternoon cause he wanted to watch a movie on Sat evening... but no one pick up the phone. Then he returned my call during the afternoon session of the seminar, but I switched my phone off. Aiseh.... Then I called him about 5 plus, he said he's already watching the movie with the rest of the gang... he said he sent me an email informing me... CELAKA! I DID NOT RECEIVE THE EMAIL! =( Supposingly they are watching Bourne Supremacy at 5:30pm in Midvalley. Anyways, my seminar finish close to 7pm, can't go also lar....

After the seminar, I went shopping in Kotaraya (the bottom level). If you guys are finding all the newest drama from Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan this is the place to find it. It's cheap and there are lots of shops. They also have anime, comic books, magazines, posters, video games (ps2, xbox, gameboy stuffs & accesories), etc... As I browsing around, I receive a call from Ah Seng asking me whether I wanna catch a movie tonite. I asked what movie. He said Ladder 49, starring John Travolta. The movie will be at Sunway Pyramid and the movie starts at 9:20pm. Oooo... I said alrite... I'll be there and continued my shopping... Most of the shops recommended this korean drama 'Stairway to Heaven' , I bought 'Stairway to Heaven' part 1 & 2 for RM99.90. And the salesperson gave me free VCD on the music from the drama. The salesperson told me there was a total of 28 to 30 CDs. OMG! When I'm gonna finish watching this drama? =P When I finish buying the drama, it's already 8 plus and straight to Sunway =)

Reach Sunway about 9:10pm and met up with Ah Seng and his friends. Bought popcorn and went straight into the cinema. I wasn't aspecting that Ladder 49 was a fireman show. I thought it was a some kind of a space adventure show... =P

John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix

The starting scene is so kan cheong where all the fireman rush into a blazing building, saving people and putting out the fire. It really got my attention. For the first half of the movie, it was really enterntaining and comedic. Then came the second half, where the movie suddenly became dead serious. All in all it's a good movie, at least there are some improvements from Backdraft I watch 10 years back! The fire scene was bigger and more realistic. Great acting from John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix.

My rating for Ladder 49: 4 out of 5 (must see for all firemen and for those who want to get to know the life of fireman and how they put everything on the line in order to save one life) Oh... did I mention that Ah Seng's friend cried during the ending (girl la... not guy). The movie was too touching for her.

After the movie, Ah Seng asked whether I want to catch another movie tomorrow. I said okay and we agreed to watch Bourne Supremacy! Yes! =D Then I went to visit pillowmui at Starbucks but she's not working that day because she has exams. Anyways, GOOD LUCK FOR EXAMS PILLOWMUI!

Reached home about 11:30pm, saw the missed calls on my handphone. (I put my phone on silent during the movie) Called Theresa, she and her gang was hanging out at Matrix, she ask me to go over... but I reached home liao... didn't feel like going out anymore.

Didn't felt like sleeping yet, so I watched the first episode of 'Stairway to Heaven' with my sister. Wah! This drama ar... not bad ler... there is a girl in the drama that is so manupulative ler... damm scary woi... =X After watching the first episode, was feeling very tired and I went straight to dreamland.... zzzzz....

Stariway to Heaven

The next day, went to watch Bourne Supremacy (Kekuasaan Bourne =P) with Ah Seng in One Utama.

Matt Damon as Jason Bourne

Before the movie, we went to Laksa Shack for lunch. (First time there) Oh... long time didn't have laksa jor. I asked the waiter the recommend me their specialty laksa. Their specialty laksa was Laksa Johor. I ordered Laksa Johor and Ah Seng order Nasi Kerabu Ayam if not mistaken =P The Laksa Johor was delicious even though it was a bit pricey (RM7.90 per bowl) Not too spicy and the portion was big enough XD~~~

Hey caRie! You still own me a bowl of Penang Laksa XD~~~. Can't remember the name of the place jor. The one where you and Juney hang out to have laksa there. =D

After lunch, we bought popcorn and went straight into the cinema. Actually this is the second Bourne movie. The first one was called Bourne Supremacy. Haven't watch the first movie yet... lolz... =P The movie started with the big bang! There was lots of action all the way. The last scene was the best, where Bourne was being chase by everyone in the city, and he outrun the police with his excellet driving skills!

My rating for Bourne Supremacy: 4.5 / 5 (must see for all action fans!)

After the movie, went to Puzzle World to get my 300 piece Monalisa puzzle. Wanted to get this puzzle like for 2 months already and it just arrived few days ago. =) Went to MPH for a while. Then I went to Giant to get some microwave popcorns. I'm a sucker for popcorns XD~~~ Left One Utama about 6pm and I went to get a haircut at Cut-In in Kelana Jaya.

300 piece Monalisa jigsaw puzzle

Reached home about 7pm, and my parents are just back from overseas. We went to a vegetarian shop in Damansara Utama (opposite Fitness First, next to Grandma Kitchen?) to have our dinner. My mom met her friend there, they chatted for a while and her friend just paid for the bill when she was about to leave. Free dinner... woo hooo! But we have to wait for an hour for the food to arrive cause there was too much people eating vegetarian these days. We went back home and my father brought out a ice cream birthday cake from Haagen Dazs from the fridge to suprise my mom and her birthday was a few days later. Anyways, we cut the cake and it was yummy.

Ice cream cake from Haagen Dazs. Yummy ^_^

Then I watched the repeat of MotoGP in Philip Island. Watch how Valentino Rossi (The Doctor) overtook Sete Gibernau which was leading all the way on the last lap. On the last lap, Rossi overtook Gibernau on the first corner. Gibernau has not given up hope yet as this is his home race. Then Gibernau overtook Rossi on the next corner. Rossi is not going to giving up because he wants to win the championship in style. Finally Rossi overtook Gibernau on the last corner and won the race by a whiscker and was crowned the 2004 MotoGP World Champion. Woah! Great great great overtaking from Rossi and Gibernau. This is one of the most exciting moments in motoGP! ^_^

Valentino Rossi aka The Doctor, 2004 MotoGP World Champion

After that, watched some other shows, mandi, check my emails and watch another movie Orgazmo recommended by Neeraj. This is a movie by the director of South Park. The movie was hilarious... laff sei ngo... =X

Orgazmo

My rating on Orgazmo: 3.5 / 5 (Warning: Strictly for adults only!) Anyways, if you enjoyed South Park, you might enjoy this movie =P

After the movie, went straight to dreamland... zzzz.... XD

Lesson learned: Never ever give up hope, until the last milisecond or even though if the task seems impossible!

Sidenote: Updated the website with a new layout. Now, it looks more professional... lolz... Also, if you refresh the page, there will be a different picture. There are 12 different pictures currently. My tagboard is down, using the old tagboard now... hehehe....

Yatta! Yatta! Everybody say Yatta!

Yatta! Yatta! Everyone say Yatta!

Well before I get started, if you haven't seen the Yatta! movie clip by now, right click HERE and select "Save As" to download it (7.8 MB Requires Microsoft Media Player).

What the hell is that? Well it's a song called Yatta, performed by a group of guys called "Green Leaves". So what is the song about? Well Yatta! literally means "We did it!" but it's similar in context to someone shouting "Alright!" in english. It's an exclamation of happiness. As for the rest of the song basically it's supposed to be a feel-good, uplifting, motivational song about feeling good about life, the universe, and everything in it. The nakedness and the leaf underwear are just part of the sketch.

Wah! Free show... bagus... =X

Maria Sharapova: 2004 Tokyo Champion!

Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova overpowered Mashona Washington 6-0, 6-1 on Saturday 9th October 2004 to win the Japan Open for the second straight year.

Sharapova, the top seed, needed only 55 minutes to beat her American opponent. Washington couldn't handle the booming serves and the solid groundstrokes that were sent her way. "I served very well," Sharapova said. "I knew I had to dictate the pace this time and was able to do that a lot better than the last time we played." To read more click here.

Congratulations Maria! Damm, she's SO HOT!!!

Kuala Selangor Trip

I'm back from Kuala Selangor! Saw lots of fireflies ^_^

09/09/2004 Saturday - We left KL about 5:30pm. We stopped at the Sungai Buloh makan-makan area to wait for the rest of the Rotaractors. Then we were our way and we were caught in a traffic jam for awhile. Then we came to some twisting and winding roads. Finally we arrived at the River View Seafood Restaurant about 8 plus.

River View Seafood Restaurant

There were about 20 of us. We chit-chated and get to know one another while waiting for the delicious food XD~ Irene, the trip organizer introduced us to Raja and Kumar who are going to be our trekking guide tomorrow. You know the funny thing, some of the rotaractors know Tom. Even the guides know Tom. Tom! You are too famous la.... everyone knows you. Anyways, here comes the food....

Lala?

Fish

Crabs with two hammer?

Makan-makan seafood

The seafood was fresh, delicious and yummy! My rating: Recommended! ^_^ By the time we finished dinner, it was about 10:15pm. We quickly rushed to the firefly jetty because last boat leaves about 10:30pm. We reached the ticket counter just in time, we bought the boatride tickets for RM10 per adult and we were given a bottle of mineral water. We proceded to the jetty, strapped on our lifejackets. Since a boat can take about 15-20 people, we need to split the group into two. I was in the second group. We boarded the boat and straight we go to see the fireflies!

Welcome sign-board

Since it was a small boat, I expected the boat to be rocky but the water was so clam that nite. The boatmen (malay pakcik) advised us not to use flash if we are going to take photos. Errr... how to take pictures since it was total darkness -.-|| I tried to take alot of picture without the flash, the fireflies only appear in one photograph.

The one photo that captured the fireflies

The pakcik ask us why we were so late, cause most the fireflies usually hang out around 8-9pm and the fireflies do not come out to play when it's raining. Anyways, we saw alot of fireflies like to trees decorated with blinking lights. =) There was one point that the pakcik stop by the bushes and capture two fireflies and put it on our hands. (DO NOT CATCH THE FIREFLIES! If they caught you doing that they will fine you RM500!)

So we were passing the from one hand to another. Out of the sudden one of them flew off, the other one also few off later. Wow! the firefly was really tiny. It was so tiny and yet it can flash lights from it butt! Isn't it a marvelous creature? lolz..... Anyways, good things have to come to an end. The boatride lasted about half an hour. It was short but sweet! ^_^

Catching firefly and picking leafs is prohibited! Fine Rm500

We came out of the boat, removed our lifejackets and we started to take some group photos. And we all thanked Irene for arranging a wonderful trip. Then, it was time to say goodbye. Half of the group have to leave for KL while half of us stayed another day. 11 of us including me are staying for the nite.

We left the jetty at about 11:30pm and make our way to the dormitory in Kampung Belimbing. We reach in about 15 minutes drive but have to wait for awhile for the key to the dorm. Hmm... all the 11 of us gonna stay in the same dorm - 6 guys and 5 girl. We rested for a while in the dorm and they wanted to go nite trekking. It was about 12:30am jor, still wanna go trekking? Anyways, we brought out our torch lights and we are suppose wear long pants and shoes. Spray some insect repellent and we were to leave all valuables in the dorm for safety purposes. (So no digital cam -.-||) We are not suppose to make noise or swear during trekking. hehehe.... Finally after all the preperations, we were ready to go trekking in the middle of the nite about 1am.

They trekking trail was extremely dark! Luckily it was all flat land. We reached a tower and all of us went up to see the surrounding view. Wow! it was quite a spectacular view. Lotsa trees and a giant pond which have dried up. We saw fireflies from the tower too. This time is was the big sized ones. Woo hoo... We then went back and reached the dorm about 2am plus.

Since there was no water, the guy in charge of the place, gave us a shalley for taking bath and to wash up. The girls decided to take a shower at the shalley. And we guys are starting to play UNO already. We played and played for a long time. The girls came back about half an hour and joined us. We played a few warm up rounds. After that, we started to include punishments for the last two person. It was going to 5am and I wanted to sleep but no, they dragged me to play some more. In the end, Lauren and I kena punishment. Apalar.... lucky just put some toothpaste on the forehead only. Oooo... forehead so cooling.... After that, I really want to sleep liao but no! they want to off the lights and tell ghost stories. Chi sin geh... going to 5:30am liao... when they off the lights, I went straight to dreamland eventhough they were noisy telling whatever ghost stories. hehehe.....

10/10/2004 Sunday - The next morning, woke up about 7:30am and get ready to go trekking again but half of them still sleeping... What to do, we wanted to wake the rest ala army style. lolz... but we didn't la... So, only about 7 of us were ready at 9am to go trekking.

The trekking trail

We were trekking and came to split, one way to the giant dried pond, another way was the continuation of the with the trek. We decided to walk on the giant point. The floor was soft, real soft. We have to be careful not to go too far in to the middle of the pond or we will sink into the mud. We saw lots of birds and there were lotsa seashells on the ground.

Dried pond with 4 gulls

There was one place where there is super soft ground and I decided to leap forward. HUGE MISTAKE!!! I leapt (what I thinking about?) and my foot got stuck in the mud cause the ground is too soft. I got mud all around my right foot. I cleanned up and we moved on.

Lesson learned: Never jump on soft ground or really really soft ground. Just walk across it and if you start sinking just continue to walk, don't stop! It will be better then jumping! =P

At the end of the pond, we continue with the trekking trail. We caught some interesting photos.

Close up of a flower

Two flies doing their thing... lolz...

Later, while going back we met up with the other guys. We also met UPS people doing community service by planting trees and cleaning up the area. We finished trekking about 11:30am and everyone was hungry. We then went for branch at about 12 plus.

We ate a few shop down the River View Restaurant. We ordered some fried rice and some noodles. Since there was a shop that sells locally produced stuffs next door, half of us went for shopping. Bought some tiny ikan bilis and some keropoks. =) After finish shopping, our food arrived (ngam ngam hou) and we ate. Food was OK, nothing spectacular.

At about one, we went to Bukit Malawati. We went for the tram ride which cost about RM2 per adult. We went up the hill and we stopped there to take photos. The view there was great. There was a light house up there too but we are not allowed into the lighthouse. We took group photos and with the monkeys.

Taman Melawati Lighthouse

After visiting Bukit Malawati, we went back to the dorm about 2pm and pack to go home. We said goodbyes to everyone and we thanked Irene again for the splendid job she did in organizing this trip. Irene, hope you organize more trips like this one in the future! We left about almost 3pm and Fu fetched me to Holiday Villa open area car park where I parked my car. We reached there about 4pm. Took my car and drove staright home. Reached home about 5pm. Unpacked everything and had a shower.

Had porridge for dinner and played with my new PC for awhile. Still need to install lotsa stuff there. hehehe....

Later, my sister and I watched Windstruck (Korean show) on DVD. Bought this DVD a few days about. Here's a review of the show. Click here. Watch this movie if you like romantic and commedy movies =) My ratings for Windstruck: 4/5

Man in satanic Renault terror ordeal

A traumatised Frenchman is shaken but otherwise unharmed after his Renault Vel Satis kidnapped him on the A71 motorway in central France and subjected him to an hour-long 125mph terror ordeal. Hicham Dequiedt, 29, was overtaking a lorry on said highway when the car's automatic speed regulator stuck, AFP reports. Mercifully, Dequiedt managed to disable the vehicle by pulling out the Renault's magnetic card ignition key. He finally ground to a halt 12 miles from Riom. A police officer noted: "The driver was really afraid - especially at one point when he had to overtake at 200 kilometres per hour on the emergency lane."

Unplug from the Real World?

Went for yum char session yesterday with Yung's gang. We were discussing about movies. Yung is a big fan of the first Matrix movie. (I love this movie too!). We were talking about how to free our minds and maybe we can unplug ourselves from the Matrix. hehehe... BTW, he's planning to watch The Matrix hundreds of times. His theory is if you do something enough times, eventually something will happen, maybe enlightenment on how to free our minds. =P Anyways, here are some quotes from The Matrix:

Morpheus: I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.

Morpheus: What is real? How do you define real? If you're talking about your senses, what you feel, taste, smell, or see, then all you're talking about are electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

Morpheus : This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

More quotes here and here.

We left about 11pm and I went for another yum char session with Ee Ling's gang. We chit chated until midnight. We adjourned, left the place, reach home about half past 12 and went straight to dreamland =D

SpaceShipOne Captures the X Prize

SpaceShipOne's second flight was a success, the craft successfully launching from mothership White Knight and returning safely about 20 minutes later. If the flight is certified to have reached the X Prize's target height (62.5 miles) before its safe return, it will win the $10 million purse, and more importantly attain the prestige of repeatably (if only technically) reaching space, on a budget embarrassingly smaller than NASA's. Today's flight was manned by 51-year-old test pilot Brian Binnie (rather than Mike Melvill, who piloted last week's trip), and according to spectators present at both launches seemed even smoother than last week's flight. The view from the sidelines was incredible. Link to CNN's coverage of the launch (video) (which lists a claimed height attained of 368,000 feet), noting "Interesting to note that a majority of its funding ($20-$30 million) was put up by Microsoft's own, Paul Allen." Today's lesson for the girls

Today's lesson - Girls must be convinced, so learn to promote yourself - convince them that "Engineers are the Best Boyfriends' Let me tell you why girls should eventually marry an engineer over a Law, Management, Arts or Medical School Graduate. He has three distinct advantages over the rest of the graduates.

Advantage 1: Secure lifestyle
An engineer boyfriend can provide you with a secure lifestyle. At 27 years old, an engineer probably has a respectable, stable job that gives him a high income to own a car, invest, have a comfortable life, and get married and buy a house too. Law graduates are still working as a lowly apprentice in law firm, most management graduates have just failed on their first business plan, the acts graduate is still looking for a job, and the medical school graduate is still living in a hospital.

Advantage 2: Unmatchable industriousness
An engineer boyfriend will dedicate an unimaginable amount of his time and effort to understand you. Engineers strain really really hard to understand their work. You can believe that they will try really really hard to understand women too, just like how they understand their work, once they believe that you are the one. So even if they don't understand you initially, they will keep on trying. Even if they still do not understand, they will figure out the correct method to keep you happy (e.g. buy diamond ring = 1 week's worth of happiness.) And once they find out the secret formula, they will just keep on repeating it so that the desired results appear. Unlike the Lawyer who will argue with you, the Management graduate who will try to control your spending, the Arts graduate who will 'change major', and the medical school graduate who will operate on you. And you know what, it's really so easy to make engineers believe that you are the 'one'. Say that you like one of their projects and they will be hooked to you forever.

Advantage 3:
An engineer boyfriend will never betray your trust. Let me first tell you what is wrong with the rest of the others - the lawyers will lie about everything, management graduates will cheat your money, the arts graduate will flirt, and you probably just look like another cadaver to the medical school graduate. Your engineer boyfriend is either too busy to have an affair, and even if he does, he is too dumb to lie to you about that. Hence, an engineer is the most secure boyfriend that you will ever find - rich enough, will keep on trying to understand and please you, has no time for affairs, and too dumb to lie to you.

Lazy Weekend =P

02/10/2004 Saturday - At nite, mom dragged me and sister to get a cold weather jacket in Centerpoint. Why get a cold weather jacket? Cause going to Korea soon with whole family coming this end October. Korea will be autumn and the temperature will be about 5'C to 20'C. After that, we went to Uno Pizza in Centerpoint to have Italian food. Had seafood pasta! The pasta was really delicious. Yummy ^_^

03/10/2004 Sunday - Wanted to catch a movie with Ah Seng on Sunday afternoon but he can't make it. So I just laze around for the whole Sunday... long time didn't relax like this jor.... ^_^ Went for Jap food in DJ. The food there was normal, nothing special.

Btw, introducing our new guestblogger caRie the Incredicle!

JUST FOR FUN - ENGLISH IS A KILLER

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on health and nutrition.

1. Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. Africans drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
