Can't Take My Eyes Off You

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like Heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak,
But if you feel like I feel,
Please let me know that it's real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you, baby,
And if it's quite alright,
I need you, baby,
To warm a lonely night
I love you, baby
Trust in me when I say:
Oh, pretty baby,
Don't bring me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like Heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you, baby,
And if it's quite alright,
I need you, baby,
To warm a lonely night
I love you, baby
Trust in me when I say:
Oh, pretty baby,
Don't bring me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay...

99 SECRETS GIRLS HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT GUYS

1. Guys don't actually look after good-looking girls. They prefer neat and presentable girls.

2. Guys hate flirts.

3. A guy can like you for a minute, and then forget you afterwards.

4. When a guy says he doesn't understand you, it simply means you're not thinking the way he is.

5. "Are you doing something?" or "Have you eaten already?" are the first usual questions a guy asks on the phone just
to get out from stammering.

6. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.

7. When a guy really likes you, he'll disregard all your bad characteristics.

8. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

9. Guys will do anything just to get the girl's attention.

10. Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend.

11. When guys want to meet your parents. Let them.

12. Guys want to tell you many things but they can't. And they sure have one habit to gain courage and spirit to tell you
many things and it is drinking!

13. Guys cry!!!

14. Don't provoke the guy to heat up. Believe me. He will.

15. Guys can never dream and hope too much.

16. Guys usually try hard to get the girl who has dumped them, and this makes it harder for them to accept their
defeat.

17. When you touch a guy's heart, there's no turning back.

18. Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?!..uh...never mind!" would make him jump to a conclusion
that is far from what you are thinking.

19. Guys go crazy when girls touch their hands.

20. Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.

21. When a guy makes a prolonged "umm" or makes any excuses when you are asking him to do you a favor, he's
actually saying that he doesn't like you and he can't lay down the card for you.

22. When a girl says "no", a guy hears it as "try again tomorrow."

23. You have to tell a guy what you really want before he gets the message clearly.

24. Guys hate gays!

25. Guys love their moms.

26. A guy would sacrifice his money for lunch just to get you a couple of roses.

27. A guy often thinks about the girl who likes him. But this doesn't mean that the guy likes her.

28 You can never understand him unless you listen to him.

29. If a guy tells you he loves you once in a lifetime. He does.

30. Beware. Guys can make gossips scatter through half of the face of the earth faster than girls can.

31. Like Eve, girls are guys’ weaknesses.

32. Guys are very open about themselves.

33. It's good to test a guy first before you believe him. But don't let him wait that long.

34. No guy is bad when he is courting

35. Guys hate it when their clothes get dirty. Even a small dot.

36. Guys really admire girls that they like even if they're not that much pretty.

37. Your best friend, whom your boyfriend seeks help from about his problems with you may end up being admired by your boyfriend.

38. If a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him. You don't need to give advice.

39. A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.

40. A guy finds ways to keep you off from linking with someone else.

41. Guys love girls with brains more than girls in miniskirts.

42. Guys try to find the stuffed toy a girl wants but would unluckily get the wrong one.

43. Guys virtually brag about anything.

44. Guys cannot keep secrets that girls tell them.

45. Guys think too much.

46. Guys' fantasies are unlimited.

47. Girls' height doesn't really matter to a guy but her weight does!

48. Guys tend to get serious with their relationship and become too possessive. So watch out girls!!!

49. When a girl makes the boy suffer during courtship, it would be hard for him to let go of that girl.

50. It's not easy for a guy to let go of his girlfriend after they broke up especially when they've been together for 3
years or more.

51. You have to tell a guy what you really want before getting involved with that guy.

52. A guy has to experience rejection, because if he's too-good-never-been-busted, never been in love and hurt, he
won't be matured and grow up.

53. When an unlikable circumstance comes, guys blame themselves a lot more than girls do. They could even hurt themselves physically.

54. Guys have strong passion to change but have weak will power.

55. Guys are tigers in their peer groups but become tamed pussycats with their girlfriends.

56. When a guy pretends to be calm, check if he's sweating. You'll probably see that he is nervous.

57. When a guy says he is going crazy about the girl. He really is.

58. When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying "Please come and listen to me"

59. Guys don't really have final decisions.

60. When a guy loves you, bring out the best in him.

61. If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him.

62. If a guy has been kept shut or silent, say something.

63. Guys believe that there's no such thing as love at first sight, but court the girls anyway and then realize at the end
that he is wrong.

64. Guys like femininity not feebleness.

65. Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do.

66. A guy may instantly know if the girl likes him but can never be sure unless the girl tells him.

67. A guy would waste his time over video games and basketball, the way a girl would do over her romance novels and
make-ups.

68. Guys love girls who can cook or bake.

69. Guys like girls who are like their moms. No kidding!

70. A guy has more problems than you can see with your naked eyes.

71. A guy's friend knows everything about him. Use this to your advantage.

72. Don't be a snob. Guys may easily give up on the first sign of rejection.

73. Don't be biased. Try loving a guy without prejudice and you'll be surprised.

74. Girls who bathe in their eau de perfumes do more repelling than attracting guys.

75. Guys are more talkative than girls are especially when the topic is about girls.

76. Guys don't comprehend the statement "Get lost" too well.

77. Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions but still love them more.

78. When a guy gives a crooked or pretentious grin at your jokes, he finds them offending and he just tried to be polite.

79. Guys don't care about how shiny their shoes are unlike girls.

80. Guys tend to generalize about girls but once they get to know them, they’ll realize they're wrong.

81. Any guy can handle his problems all by his own. He's just too stubborn to deal with it.

82. Guys find it so objectionable when a girl swears

83. Guys' weakest point is at the knee.

84. When a problem arises, a guy usually keeps himself cool but is already thinking of a way out.

85. When a guy is conscious of his looks, it shows he is not good at fixing things.

86. When a guy looks at you, either he's amazed of you or he's criticizing you.

87. When you catch him cheating on you and he asks for a second chance, give it to him. But when you catch him again and he asks for another chance, ignore him.

88. If a guy lets you go, he really loves you.

89. If you have a boyfriend, and your boy best friend always glances at you and it obviously shows that he is jealous
whenever you're with your boyfriend, all I can say is your boy best friend loves you more than your boyfriend does.

90. Guys learn from experience not from the romance books that girls read and take as their basis of experience.

91. You can tell if a guy is really hurt or in pain when he cries in front of you!

92. If a guy suddenly asks you for a date, ask him first why.

93. When a guy says he can't sleep if he doesn't hear your voice even just for one night, hang up. He also tells that to
another girl. He only flatters you and sometimes makes fun of you.

94. You can truly say that a guy has good intentions if you see him praying sometimes.

95. Guys seek for advice not from a guy but from a girl.

96. Girls are allowed to touch boys' things. Not their hair!

97. If a guy says you're beautiful, that guy likes you.

98. Guys hate girls who overreact.

99. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships.

The story so far - Part 1

I've haven't been blogging for awhile... many things have happened within the last 3 months. I find that the within this period, I've learned a lot and life will never be the same! Life is changing!

Ok, I'll pick it up from my last proper post (This post was about the steamboat and the my birthday celebration).

16/05/2005 (Monday)

Today is my grandmother's 100th day leaving us. So the whole family gather at the Nilai Memorial Park for prayers. Prayers was short. Gonna miss her.

17/05/2005 (Tuesday) to 21/05/2005 (Saturday) - Dubai Trip

Went over to Dubai to have meetings with agents and in the meantime tour around Dubai. Guys, I tell you, the trip was really worth it, eventhough Dubai is a dessert. The temperature is when we arrived was about 39'C. Ooo... it's hot! Luckily everywhere is air conditioned =D

Dubai just started construction in the last ten years and today I can say that Dubai has overtaken Kuala Lumpur in terms of development! As of today, Dubai is only about 10% finish and they're building 24/7 non stop! Walaueh! Now, they have the Burj Al-Arab (Arab Tower - The world famous 7 star hotel). All the big international companies is already there. It's a place where the East meets the West and a lot of business deals will be made and a lot of International Convention will be held in the future!

What makes Dubai so attractive? Firstly, it is strategically positioned and there are no red tape or bereaucracy. Crime rate is also almost zero - punishment is severe! Also, you can leave your goods at the port for a few days and no one will ever touch it! Isn't it a safe place. Also, they have a great leader with great vision. In the future, they're gonna have the tallest building in the world in Dubai (Dubai Tower), the biggest shopping complex in the world, F1 autodrome, Dubailand (something like Disneyland LA, but bigger 3 times), ice-skating in the dessert, and lots lots more.

Also, in Dubai, I see everyone mix with everyone eventhough you're from different countries, colour or religion. Wow! Therefore, I encourage you guys to go visit Dubai while it's still building. You get a sense that in this world, nothing is impossible. If you can dream it, you can build it! Cun~ The best time to visit Dubai is around December to February (the temperature is about 20'C-25'C).

During our trip to Dubai, we went a few places:

Desert Safari - going through the desert with a four wheeler... camel rides... getting my first henna... belly dancing... cun!
Creek River Cruise - Nice dinner on a boat... got to chat with some Japanese and a really really rich guy... see Dubai in the night... it's so beautiful!
Gold Souk - You'll never see more gold anywhere on the planet! An eye opener!
Spice Souk - Lotsa spice... not my kind of place =P
Electronic Souk - Lots of electronics gadget here... no time to finish visiting it
Jebel Ali Port - This port is huge! Bigger and more advanced than Port Klang alot!
Burj Al-Arab - The world famous 7-Star hotel. We managed just to stop outside to take some photos. If you wanna enter, you must have resevations and pay RM500 for lunch or RM200 for tea. Wanted to go for the tea, but it's already fully booked. You gotta book one week in advanced! Anyways, I struck out this one out from my to do list already. Yeah! =P

Overall, I'm glad I visited Dubai!

21/05/2005 (Saturday night)

Just came back from Dubai in the morning, we had a pot luck party over at Ah Seng's house. We had some nice spaghetti. After that we went to watch Star Wars 3. (Aiyoh, stupe has been telling me he watched this during the official premiere in Malaysia while I was having a meeting in Dubai)

My ratings for Starwars 3: 3.5 / 5 (The story is so-so only. I expected more. It'a a movie just to complete the whole Starwars Saga =P~ Episode 1, 2 and 3 no need to watch lar just watch episode 4, 5 and 6 instead!)

23/05/2005 (Monday) to 24/05/2005 (Tuesday) - NAC2005

This is my 2nd time attending NAC (National Achiever's Congress). It's an event organize by Success Resources. For NAC 2005, they brought in:

Jay Abraham - World's No 1 Marketing Genius
Deborah T. Patel - Expressing YOU, Taking your communication to the next stage
Ken McElroy – Building wealth through Real Estate
Ron White – Magic Memory : How to remember anything instantly
Peter Ho – Cash is King : Mastering Cash flow
Dr Demartini – Inspiring laws for your magnificent life

Day 1:
Jay Abraham was good, but is not us the full value for the ticket. He seems to hold back and is more interested in selling his more expensive seminar. Deborah T. Patel had a great entrance and got everyone doing exercises and giving tips on expressing yourself and how to sing with full enthuism. The song we sang was 'What A Wonderful World'. Ken Mc Elroy was boring. Boring until can sleep =P What he says is nothing new, it's all general stuffs. Ron White gave us some techniques to remember 10 things. It works! Cool! After the event, I bumped into Harjit, a friend I met at last year's NAC.

Day 2:
Peter Ho makes accounting so fun. His teaching method is very good. I can still remember what he say until today. Cash is blood.... Accounting is easy.... =P Later, I bumped into Isabelle, Michael, Mei Han and Phyllis. What a coincidence! After lunch, it was Dr Demartini's turn. Dr Demartini brought down the house! He's the man! What he said is just so inspiring and so true! He's very different from other speakers, he gave us not only his 100% but his 120%! I don't know about the rest, but he really got me thinking hard!

After his speech, we had a photo session with all the speakers! We have a great time! Guess who's coming? The guy from 'Catch Me If You Can'. Not Leonardo Dicaprio lar. The real guy that forged cheques and tricked everyone that he was a pilot. Wah! I've already sign up for next year's NAC. Have you?

28/05/2005 (Saturday) - Four Seasons

Watched the Four Seasons at the Bangsar Actors Studio brought to you by the Tasa Young KL Singers (YKLS) choir. Was there to watch Li Sun perform. The show started with young children singing. They are just great singers for their age (some of them are only 7 years old!).

Great openning by the children but I cannot say the same thing for the adult singers. I know that the Four Seasons production was kinda rushed and they are suppose to sing songs from many different countries of the world. Yup, they sang the songs in their original language. They are suppose to flow smoothly, but there were a few singing mistakes though. Some of them even forgotten the lyrics. Also, they did not sing with all their hearts out. I expected more but... haih... but what can I say.

Luckily they have a killer song for the finale. They sang a hokkien song! (Can't remember the song title though =P~) It's nice and catchy. For this song, they really sang with full enthuism and passion! This is what I came to see. Overall Four Seasons by YKLS has good starting and ending, but the body was so-so only. I know YKLS has brought us a few good production in the pass, hopefully in future, YKLS would bring us better and exciting productions.

My ratings for Four Seasons: 3 / 5

Malaysia english mou tak teng man....!!!!!!! learn la veli usefull one kekekekeke
Malaysia English vs Britian English ... Who says our English is teruk. Just see below - Ours is simple, short, concise, straight-to-point, effective etc. The English did invent the English Language, but they cannot use it economically when communicating their intentions. Compare these phrases that Malaysians and Britons use to say the same thing: So, why make things so confusing and waste of money when you are and a long distance call.
WHEN GIVING A CUSTOMER BAD NEWS
Britons: I'm sorry, Sir, but we don't seem to have the sweater you want in your size, but if you give me a moment, I can call the other outlets for you.
Malaysians: No Stock.

RETURNING A CALL
Britons: Hello, this is John Smith. Did anyone page for me a few moments ago?
Malaysians: Hallo, who page?

ASKING SOMEONE TO MAKE WAY.
Britons: Excuse me, I'd like to get by. Would you please make way?
Malaysians: S-kew me

WHEN SOMEONE OFFERS TO PAY
Britons: Hey, put your wallet away, this drink is on me.
Malaysians:No-need, lah.

WHEN ASKING FOR PERMISSION
Britons: Excuse me, but do you think it would be possible for me to enter through this door?
Malaysians: (pointing the door) can ar?

WHEN ENTERTAINING
Britons: Please make yourself right at home.
Malaysians: Don't be shy, lah!

WHEN DOUBTING SOMEONE
Britons: I don't recall you giving me the money.
Malaysians: Where got?

WHEN DECLINING AN OFFER
Britons: I'd prefer not to do that, if you don't mind.
Malaysians: Doe-waaaan!

IN DISAGREEING ON A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
Britons: Err. Tom, I have to stop you there. I understand where you're
coming from, but I really have to disagree with what you said about the issue.
Malaysians: You mad, ah?

WHEN ASKING SOMEONE TO LOWER THEIR VOICE.
Britons: Excuse me, but could you please ! lower your voice, I'm trying to concentrate over here.
Malaysians: Shaddap lah!

WHEN ASKING SOMEONE IF HE/SHE KNOWS YOU.
Britons: Excuse me, but I noticed you staring at me for some time. Do I know you?
Malaysians: See what, see what?

WHEN ASSESSING A TIGHT SITUATION.
Britons: We seem to be in a bit of a predicament at the moment.
Malaysians: Die-lah!!

WHEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED
Britons: Will someone tell me what has just happened?
Malaysians: Wat happen Why lidat????ADUI!!! (jumping to conclusion)

WHEN SOME ONE DID SOMETHING WRONG
Britons: This isn't the way to do it here let mne show you.
Malaysians:Hoi!!!u pig ar lidat also doe no how to do!!!!

WHEN ONE IS ANGRY
Britons: Would you mind not disturbing me

Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet soup?

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out!" Or watch a white thing come out a chicken behind and think, "that ought to taste good."

Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Is Disney World the only people trap operated by a mouse?

Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune? Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

Why do they call it an asteroid when it's outside the hemisphere, but call it a hemorrhoid when it's in your rear end?

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you,but when you take him for a car ride; he sticks his head out the window?

Shall We Dance?

Am back from the B2B Retreat in Genting Permai! It was a great! We had lotsa fun =)

Watched this fantastic movie Shall We Dance? (1996) yesterday night on Astro. Not to be confused with 2004 version starring Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere. This is a Japanese movie! It's about a successful but unhappy Japanese accountant finds the missing passion in his life when he begins to secretly take ballroom dance lessons.

Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

It's funny, heart warming and make you feel good after watching this movie. This movie have openned my mind to view dancing from a different perspective. Dancing will not be the same again, eventhough I don't dance =P~

My ratings for Shall We Dance? (1996): 4.5 / 5 - Whether you dance or not, this movie highly recommended!

Hmm... might wanna catch the Shall We Dance by Jennifer Lopez & Richard Gere.

Question of the day:
I haven't seen much ballroom dancing in Malaysia. So, the question of the day is, can you ballroom dance or salsa? And who would make a better dancer, guys or gals?

What A Wonderful World

The pics here reminds me of 'What A Wonderful World' song by Louis Amstrong. Yes, indeed this is a wonderful world. Enjoy the pics! Take care and have a great weekend!

What A Wonderful World
by Louis Amstrong

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah

An Irishman's Daughter...

An Irishman's daughter had not been home for over 5 years.

Upon her return, her father berated her; " Where have you been all this time, you ingrate! Why didn't you rite us, not even a line to let us know how you were doing? Why didn't you call? You little tramp! Don't you now what you put your Mum through??!!" The girl, crying, replied, "Sniff, snif... Dad... I became a prostitute..."

"WHAT!!? Out of here, you shameless harlot! Sinner! You're a disgrace to this family - I don't ever want to see you again!"

"OK, Dad - as you wish. I just came back to give Mom this luxury fur coat, title deeds to a ten bedroom mansion, plus a savings account certificate for £5 million. For my little brother, this gold Rolex and for you, Daddy, the brand new Mercedes limited edition convertible that's parked outside plus a lifetime membership to the Country Club...(takes a breath)...an invitation for you all to spend New Years' Eve on board my new yacht in the Riviera, and...."

"Now what was it you said you had become?"

The girl, crying again said, "a prostitute, Daddy!"

"Oh! Sweet Jesus! You scared me half to death, girl! I thought you said "a Protestant". Come here and give your old man a hug!

Which Blogger Are You?

Congratulations DKBU, you are...

minishorts of minishorts.net

You are outgoing, direct, smart, pretty, and a definite go-getter. You are frank, a little too frank perhaps that sometimes you get on people's nerves and make them very upset. If people attack you, you hit back with triple the force without blinking because you are the kind of person who knows exactly what you are talking about or else you wouldn't talk about it. Your quick-thinking is what makes you special. You are an elitist.

Women over 30...

This is for all girls 30 years and over.... and for those who are turning 30, and for those who are scared of moving into their 30's...AND for guys who are scared of girls over 30!!!!... This was written by Andy Rooney from CBS 60 Minutes.

Andy Rooney says:

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 30 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 30 will never wake you in the middle of the night to ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think.

If a woman over 30 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And, it's usually something more interesting.

A woman over 30 knows herself well enough to be assured in who she is, what she is, what she wants and from whom. Few women past the age of 30 give a hoot what you might think about her or what she's doing.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.

A woman over 30 has the self-assurance to introduce you to her women friends. A younger woman with a man will often ignore even her best friend because she doesn't trust the guy with other women.

Women over 30 couldn't care less if you're attracted to her friends because she knows her friends won't betray her.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 30. They always know.

A woman over 30 looks good wearing bright red lipstick. This is not true of younger women. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 30 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a
jerk if you are acting like one! You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 30 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed hot woman of 30+, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year-old
waitress.

Ladies, I apologise.

For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realise it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

Clon to Come Back with 5th Album

Woo hoo... Clon is back! One of my top favourite KPOP group!

5 years after the group stopped activities, two member group Clon (Kang Won Rae and Goo Joon Yup) will reunite to release their 5th album.

Best known for their song "Goong Dari Shabara", the group was hit with a hard blow when Kang Won Rae was involved in a motorcycle accident which paralyzed him from the waist down. The accident happened in the midst of their 4th album performances and thus stopped any more planned activity.

Kang Won Rae has continued his work in the entertainment business as tv host as well as Radio DJ on KBS2 with the "Kang Won Rae and No Hyun Hee Music Talk" Show. He even married his girlfriend after the accident.

The title track of the new album will be "To Song Ee" and is scheduled for a July release with live performances to follow.

Cheque Presentation, BBQ and Steamboat

14/05/2005 - Saturday

Was at the Rotaract cheque presentation event. We managed to collect about RM20k for the WTYS project from the treasure hunt, the foot massage and donation from the public. Below is the report from the Organizing Chairperson.

The mock cheque presentation

The food served after the presentation

========================

Windows To Your Soul Cheque Presentation ceremony
Report by Kavita Sukanandan

Every minute a child loses his or her sight. Loses the chance to see the brilliant colors of a comic book, the rainbows in the sky, enjoy sunsets & the twinkling stars...

With this in mind, we embarked on Project Windows To Your Soul - to raise funds towards the vision care of underpriviledged kids. Starting in December on one raining evening with a seemingly impossible target of RM20K, we are proud to have come this far with the same energy, enthusiasm and commitment that we started out with. And of course, we are proud to say......

We surpassed our target and achieved RM26,081.53 which we happily passed on to Dato Dr Veera Ramani, medical coordinator of Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital and vice president of Malaysian Association of the Blind in a historic cheque presentation ceremony today!! All the funds collected will go to the setting up of the new MAB&THONEH centre in Kota Bharu, Kelantan where it will be used for kids with vision problems/ educating blind kids. :) woo hoo, feels good after all the late nights, chicken rice and sweat pouring...

========================

After the cheque presentation, we headed over to Irene's house for house warming party. We had BBQ! We were using the same stove as in Sg. Congkak =P~ Aiya Irene didn't prepare enough food leh. So some of the girls went out to tapao some food.

BBQ at Irene's house

The food the girls tapao

Anyways after all the food. The girls were sitting together, chit chatting and laughing. The guys were eating and eating =P~~~

Later, we played the "Honey, honey, will you marry me?" game. Err... didn't like it. Next we played the untangling game. The game was not bad, we got tangled and untangled but in the end, we end up untangling into 2 circles (suppose to be one circle). Then we played the "Heart Attack" game. Damm fun woi this game, but this time it was a little crowded (too many players).

Untangling game

After all the games, it was time to celebrate Michael's Be-early Birthday (the actual day is tomorrow 15/05/2005). As usual we sang him a Happy Birthday song and the Birthday song ala Rotaract style. No cake for him too, just a candle =P~

Later, we adjourned to Tanjung Mamak Bistro for some supper. We left the place at 1am.

Supper at Tanjung Mamak Bistro

15/05/2005 - Sunday

Cath invited us to her house for Steamboat and to have a WTYS post mortem meeting. We were suppose to start 6pm but you know lar Malaysian time. Dinner started at 7:30pm =P~

This is the my first time eating steamboat from rice cooker! Walaueh... it cooks really slow. But at least the soup was great. Thanks to Cath for making the delicious Tom Yam soup and Kavi for making the Chicken and Vege soup. Mmm... Delicious!

The food

Tom Yam Steamboat - Yummy =P~~~

Since everyone has to wait so long for the second round, we just took out our handphone for display (aka Nothing Better To Do). Guess what? Almost everyone uses Nokia phones.

Hanphone Display

After the dinner, we have WTYS post mortem meeting. The meeting lasted about 2 hours. After that, some of the guys appeared with a Tiramisu cake. It's time to celebrate Michael's Birthday again. Aiya, they also celebrated my birthday again (they celebrated my birthday last week). Am speechless. So as usual they sang the Birthday Song ala Rotaract style. Always say 'That I'm no use at all'. That's a lousy song lar =P Anyways, thanks guys!

Tiramisu Cake... Mmm... Slurps...

Caught this pic outside Cath's balcony

After the Birthday celebration, we cleaned up and left Cath's place. Overall, we had a great and wonderful time =)

How I End Up Learning Japanese

One day (around 1999 I think), a friend introduced me to this song Alive, My Graduation and White Love by Speed. Don't know you guys know the song or not. But Speed (consist of 4 girls) and they can really sing! Their songs were really great and catchy! Since then I've been listening to many other Japanese songs (Jpop and Jrock) and have watched some Japanese dramas.

Have visited Japan in 2001. Well it was a short trip (about 5 days) but it was enjoyable. Visited Kansai Airport, Kyoto, pass by Mount Fuji, Mount Hakone, Yokohama and finally Tokyo. It was great to see the that Japan is so advance and yet have many beautiful landscapes.

The Japanese culture is so different from Malaysia. Whenever we enter a shop, every worker would greet us with a smile and bow to us including the boss. Walaueh... where to get such service in Malaysia?

Also, in the morning, everyone will be rushing to work. Wah! All the guys would be wearing a coat and tie while the ladies wore stokings and high heels running and rushing to their office! Respect! You'll never see something like this in Malaysia.

We also tried out the Shinkansen (bullet train) and it's really really fast (faster than ERL a lot) and it's a smooth ride all the way. Cun~

Nihon tabemono wa taihen ooishi desu! Tried their sushi, ramen, miso soup, Japanese shabu-shabu (steamboat), Japanese BBQ and etc... Yummy =P~~~

I can go on and on about Japan.... But if you ask me if I would love to go Japan again, I would! Definitely! But there's a problem. Everything in Japan is expensive lar. Anyone wanna sponsor me to Japan =P~

Anyways, if you guys get a chance, you guys should go and visit Japan!

Fast forward to 2005, since Daniel san, Desmond san and myself is interested in learning Japanese, we enrolled together for the class in ICLS. That's where we ended up at =P

The class was fun and enjoyable with a taihen omoshiroi (interesting) sense. Well Fujiwara sense will be going back to Japan very soon. So this coming Sunday, Fujiwara sense has invited us (the whole class) to her house for a party and try out some Japanese food... Ooo... Can't wait... =P~~~

After the party, we'll be sitting for our exam on Monday. So good luck everyone! Ganbatte ne!

Check out http://dkbu.blogspot.com/2005/03/japanese-class.html also.

Violence and Vulgarity...

Violence

Since a child, I've never liked watching action pack movies, violence, war.. oh whatever.. it is just not my kind of movie...

Being beat up is not fun, and neither beating up someone is fun. Fight will bring nothing else but hurt.

Since I get to know him, and the kind of person he's mixing with, I constantly remind him not to get involved in any fight. I believe there'll always be solution for anything, there's no need to engaged in a fight.

Why must he reacted that way? Must you hit up someone else just to prove your love and care for your lover? Does this means I have to hit up all the girls in this whole wide world because I love you with all my heart?

Violence puts everything to an end. Sorry but I just can't forget what I see...

Vulgarity

Words can heal, and words can bring harm too. It is important for you to control the words no matter how angry you are. Couple of years ago, I used to be someone who is VERY bad tempered, and even when chatting online, I get furious and started scolding people, like as if I care about how they felt. Later after that, I tell myself, being vulgar is not everything and I really have to change.

If I can change, why can't he change?

Getting scolded like a dog on the street with heavy traffic and a lot of people nearby there is not fun. I felt so ashamed, and what's more.. I did not do anything wrong. Where is your conscience? Can't you think rationally?

Everything I had about how nice a rainbow is went down into the drain and all my feelings shattered the moment you scolded me a bitch. If I am a bitch, what made you to fall in love with a bitch? There are loads more of the F words that you used on me, I am just truely disappointed, because I believe I was not born to be scolded that way...

Bitch? Well, for me.. a bitch is born as a bitch, live her life like a bitch and will die as a bitch eventually....

Sg. Congkak Trip

07/05/2005 - Saturday

This Sg. Congkak trip was organized by Lauren (RAC KL) and Jack (RAC Subang). Great job guys!

There's two groups going to Sg. Congkak. Group 1 (Lauren, Steven, Irene, Neeraj, Boon) arrived at the Sg. Congkak camp site in the afternoon. While Group 2 (DKBU, Jennifer, Jennifer's cousin, Jack, Joanne, Lilian, Harley, Anne, Ivan, John Lai, Garrett) reached Sg. Congkak in the late afternoon. We've initially planned for a BBQ at the camp site. But guess what? When we (Group 2) arrived, it's raining cats and dogs, how wanna BBQ?

Sg. Congkak Front Gate

Another shot of the Sg. Congkak Front Gate

There's a medan selera next to the front gate?

The walkway to the camp site

Anyways, we waited for the rain to stop. Luckily it stopped in a short while. While we waited for the tents to be set up, we introduced ourselves and get to know each other =)

The water is too Haiya, can't go in for a dip.

The tents all set up!

When the tents were up, we chose our tents and started to light the mosquito coils (essential for camping trips). And we remove the BBQ stove from Steven's car. The BBQ stove was black and have not been used for quite some time. Eeeee... Guess what? Lauren took it to the nearest toilet and wash it with her bare hands! Walaueh~ Respect lar!

Lauren returned with the cleanned BBQ stove and we started to put charcoal. Err... someone forgotten to bring the firestarter lar... Ish... The guys gotta start it using some newspapers and a lot of patience. While the girls are prepared some tuna with bread and also the chicken for BBQ.

The guys starting up the fire

When the fire started, everyone was BBQing like mad cause all of us are hungry =P~ We ate, we laughed and we enjoyed it! Hehe...

Soon it's getting dark and someone forgotten to bring lamps or candles. Aiyoh... how to BBQ in the total darkness? Luckily few of us brought some torchlights. I wonder, have any of you guys ever BBQed in total darkness with only a torchlight? Hehe... what an experience!

Setting up the stuffs. It's so dark that we need to shine a torchlight =P

Everyone BBQing like mad!

After BBQ, we played 2 rounds of Twister (not again!) in total darkness. The winners were Jennifer & Harley and Anne & Boon. Wow! They can really twist! =P

Human Entanglement

Wah! Nice Posse =P~

After 2 rounds of Twister, we played Charades. Charades is a game where you have to act out a phrase and your group must guess the phrase. The person acting out cannot talk or make any noise, they can only use hand, leg and body to act out the phrase. That game is so funny.

By this time, Vijay and Brahma arrived just in time to join the charades game. They brought some food and candles for us. Hooray! At last no need use torchlight jor =P

Playing charades

08/05/2005 - Sunday (Mother's Day)

You know, this passes so fast. It's already almost 2 a.m. All of the sudden, they asked me to stand in the middle. Hmm... okay, I complied. Haiya, they reallly really surprised me! They all sang Happy Birthday song and the Birthday song ala Rotaract style (the you're beautiful and no-bloody-use-at-all song =P) and gave me a candle to blow off. You guys miss the cake! Where's the cake lar? Anyways, I wanna thank the Rotaract people for remembering because I don't remember telling anyone about my birthday leh. Anyway, thanks guys!

After that, Vijay and Brahma gotta leave. Vijay got something to do in the morning.

After Vijay and Brahma leave, we played ben dum ben dum game. Can't remember how to sing it or how to play jor. But it requires a lot of concentration.

After the not so nice game, we played 'heart-attack' game. Anne taught us how to play it. We were give a topic like fruits. Then we sit in a circle and name a fruit. That's be your nick name for that round (Tips - Get long and hard to remember nicknames). Then, Anne will distribute the cards on by one. And if both have the same numbers, ie King and King. Both the player have to call out each other nicknames. Whoever can recall the other person's nickname first wins and all their cards will be passed to them. After that the round continues until the all the cards are distributed. The person with the most cards is the loser. Then, it's up to the winners on what you wanna punish him to do. It was a really fun game! We started calling ppl mangostene lar, durian lar, rambutan lar... Then there's a round with animals lar... hehe...

Heart Attack Game - Fun!

After the interesting heart attack game, some of them went for a walk around the woods in total darkness. I went to sleep, it's already 3 a.m. plus and it's been a long day.

The next morning, was woken up by Anne's shouting. Haih... thought wat happen tim... some of them were already in the waters (the water is really cold, cause it just rained yesterday), splashing waters here and there, shouting here and there, like small kids =P (BTW, it's only 8am and it's Sunday lar)

Crazy kids splashing water and shouting here and there

The water has calm down

The greens

After waking, we got everyone to get up and have breakfast. We have tuna with bread. Nice! Was surprise to see Jennifer still around. She say she gotta go off at 7 a.m. because she has a seminar in the morning. Guess we had so much fun, that she decided to join us =P

After breakfast, Jack started collecting money from all us for the BBQ food like a loan shark. Hehe... We took a group photo and after that we were ready to jump into the cold waters for a dip. Oh... it's so cold! =D

Ready to jump in!

After a dip, we changed and packed. It's time to go back.

Packing to go home

We left Sg. Congkak about 12pm. We had lunch at Restoran Lisan in Cheras. Tried their pan mee and popiah. The pan mee is not bad though and the popiah is nice but a little too sweet.

Restoran Lisan - that reminds me of the BM aural test...

After lunch, and sending off the people, I went to Teik Seng's place. He had a gathering to watch a movie. They're watching Ocean's Twelve. Had already watched it. Oh well, just watch it again. It's a witty movie. After the movie, was exhausted and returned home for a rest.

For dinner, our family and uncle's family went to the vegetarian shop opposite Fitness First Uptown to celebrate Mother's Day. The was good! The restaurant was packed! Luckily we have made reservations earlier. Dinner was great! Eat until full, the food still keep on coming =P~~~

We back home, online awhile and straight to dreamland... zzZZzzzZZZ...

Here, I wanna thank Lauren and Jack in organizing this wonderful trip. Was really a surprise that you guys remember my birthday! Thanks again! =)

It's been a while

Nothing will ever be the same again.

Since there has been tremendous changes in my life lately, I have decided to put down all my blogs for the time being, as I think I have got enough troubles in life and I do not have enough time to actually put on any post in my blog anymore at the moment.

For those who had been hoping that I put down my blog, I hope they'll feel better that way, and for those who goes to my blog once in a while, I am sorry but I just have to do this. I might be coming back, or I might not.. I do not know..

Having my cousin walked away just like that is something I had never expected. Who would have thought someone would leave at such an early age? He's only 25, which is like only 2 years elder than me and now he's totally gone for eternity. Life is just too short.. sigh.

Everything seems to turn from bad to worse. I do not know what else I can do.. could anyone please help?

Why is he so insecure, when I have passion and love him? He forgotten that I love him? He must have caught amnesia...

I am tired of explaining anything else to anyone anymore. Since no one believes whatever heck that I said, so why bother to explain?

Dear God, please show me what I should do? Please give me guidance and forgive me for all the sins I have done.

Ronda-ronda Trip....

01/05/2005 - Sunday (Labour Day)

Xinni planned this wonderful ronda-ronda trip around Kampar, Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh & Bidor. While, Vijay offered to let us stay overnight at his new condo in Ipoh. Thanks guys!

We're suppose to meet up at Xinni's house in Cheras at about 9am. But you know lar, it's Sunday and everyone's fashinably late =P~ In the end, all of us met up at Xinni's house at about 10am. Then, we when to Steven's Corner to have breakfast. There we met up with Vijay and Mei Han.

After some roti canais, we filled up our petrol tanks at the nearest petrol station and we zoomed straight to Kampar.

Car 1 - (Vijay, Mei Han, Kavi)
Car 2 - (Michael, Lauren, Lai Peng)
Car 3 - (DKBU, Neeraj, Xinni)

I thought its would be a long journey. Turned out it was a short drive (2 hours plus) because both the passengers (Neeraj & Xinni) in my car was having a stimulating discussion. What's the stimulating discussion all about, you might ask. It's for us to know and for you to find out... =P~

We arrived at Kampar about noon. Just in time for lunch. We had the lou shue fun, the green drink (some kind of grass), the fish balls and fried fish cake. Ooo... it's all so yummy =P~

Lou Shue Fun

The green drink "Yummm Senggg!"

Fried fish cake

After lunch, we took some photos of the Old SB Rex Cinema and drop by CB to buy some biscuits. I'm still wondering what does CB stands for. So we had a game on guessing what CB stands for. Here is what we came up with - China Biscuits, China Boy, Cute Babe, Cruel Bastard, etc...

Old SB Rex Cinema

CB Biscuit Shop

After all that, we continued our journey to Xinni's hometown in Kuala Kangsar. The drive was slow because after all the food, everyone's tired and sleeping... hehe... We met Xinni's parent. They're nice people and they brought us to makan-makan in a Malay hawker centre. There we tried the cendol, laksa, rojak, etc.

After food, we took a stroll in the park behind the hawker centre. We took some pictures of park, boats, bridges, tanks, etc.

After that we drop by the Masjid Ubudiah and Istana to take some pictures. And we also drop by the city to take a photo of a jet plane. Weird lar, putting a jet there =P

After all the photo sessions, we headed back to Ipoh to Vijay's condo. The drive was interesting - lotsa twist and turns and mostly down hill. Woo hoo... Kinda felt like Takumi driving downhill from the Initial D anime. We finally arrived at Vijay's condo about 7:00pm. Walaueh, the apartment is huge! Anyways, some of us rested while the others went for swimming in condo pool while is quite huge.

After everyone have recharged, we went over to a hawker centre in Ipoh. We tried their chu cheong fun, seafood, hor fun, white coffee, etc. We were all busy eating and suddenly Neeraj got a crab shell stuck in his throat. Haiya, no need eat so fast lar man... We got some chee cheong fun and we asked him to swallow it all down. Phew, luckily the crab shell went down, if not gonna visit the hospital.

We were busy eating... no time to take pics =P~

After that, we went over to Lou Wong Taugeh Ayam Kuetiaw for their famous taugeh, chicken and hor fun. But before that, since everyone was so full, we went to the shop behind Lou Wong to do some shopping. I bought some Ipoh White Coffee and The Butterfly Heong Peah as recommended by Lai Peng (Note: Haiyo, should have bought more, it's so delicious). After shopping, we went for their pasar malam (night market). Didn't really buy anything, just walk and see =D After all the walking, we were ready to eat again. We met Tim (Michael's friend) who drop by after attending a wedding dinner nearby the area.

We all went to Lou Wong to try out their stuffs. The taugeh was fat and juicy and the the kuetiaw soup was one of the best I've tried. Yum yum.... *Burps* Also, it's amazing to see Michael finish everything for us because we were too full. For his skinny body type, he can really eat! What an eye opener! =P~

After the nice supper, the rest went back to Vijay's apartment while a few of us went driving around looking for 7-11 to buy some stuffs. Haiya, it's damm hard to find the bloody 7-11 =X After we bought our stuffs, we also headed back to Vijay's condo.

Arriving at Vijay's condo and after a delicious supper, we're gonna burn some fat and do some yoga aka we played 'Twister'.

Twister consist of a mat with circles and colours and a spinning wheel. Firstly, we have to spin the wheel and the wheel will tell us what to do. For example, if the needle lands on right hand on the blue circle, then you put your right hand on the blue circle. If you fall, you're out of the game. It seems easy at first but will get very complicated later in the game. Phew what a great work out game!

After twister, we played Taboo! I won't go into details on how to play this game. But there were some funny phrase like 'A Orange Pussy'. What are you guys thinking about? It's Garfield lar... =P

Twister

After Twister and Taboo!, all of us was tired and we went to bed. Err... because there was not enough bed, most of us slept on the floor.

02/05/2005 - Monday (Holiday)

All of us woke quite early and got ready for some Ipoh dim sum. We headed over to Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum. We reached there about 8am but there's already so many people eating already. It's full house and the business is really really good! I tell you, we have to stand next to a table to pressure those people to eat faster. Wahaha... that's fun =P~

Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum

Finally after waiting about 20 mins, it's our turn to eat while others stand next to our table to eat. Hehe... Initially we ordered enough dim sum. But to our surprise, every dim sum we ordered have double layer. Woah... now we have 2 times the dim sum. So everyone eat as much dim sum as they can lar. The dim sum was really yummy~ and one of the best dim sums I've tried. As usual, we cannot finish everything, so we see Michael sapu everything again lar. After he finished everything, we asked for the bill. To my surprise, the bill was around RM100+ That's really cheap! If we to eat that much of dim sum in KL, it would have cost us double or triple the price.

Michael sapued everything

After a big breakfast, we decided to walk around the Ipoh town. We went over to a shop that sold this chicken wrapped in paper and heated using salt. Some of us ordered it. Nah, I didn't order it. So full jor, still wanna order meh? They say they wanna tapao. After that we jalan-jalan around some more.

To Run Business - I don't get the meaning

Later, we walked to the best tau fu far shop in town where they make the best tau fu far. Unfortunately, they are just openning and have to wait for 1 and half hours for them to cook the tau fu far. Because we have to rush for time, we didn't wait. We headed back to our cars and we went to see the Pamelo girls.

Best tau fu far shop

I've been hearing a lot of stories from Stupe about these Pamelo Girls. When our cars arrive, all stay out in front of their stalls ala Army style. And they're not pretty also =P Stupe, what so special about them? After buying some pameloes, we headed off to Lata Kinjang waterfall. We had a fun time playing in the water =)

We arrived at Lata Kinjang an hour later. Walau, so many cars around lar. Luckily there was a few more space available. After parking our cars, we changed and hike up to the waterfall. The waterfall is really big and nice.

After the playing in the water for a while, we were hungry and headed to Bidor for some delicious Duck Mee. *Slurps Slurps*

Duck Mee - *Burps* So nice until finish already only take pic =P~

After some lunch, we headed back to KL. There were some jams in the highway. Luckily it was not all the way. Just some parts of the highway. Reached home safely at about 6pm. After a short while, Andrew called for dinner.

We had steamboat and BBQ ala all you can eat at Restoran Talipon with Andrew, Eleena, Wendy, Kyle and Mervin. That's a funny name for a restaurant - Telephone Restaurant. Hmm... I don't see them serving telephones??? Lolz... Anyways, it's nice seeing Wendy being promoted doing pretty well. After dinner, we left about 9pm. Went back home and straight to dreamland... zzZZzzzZZZ...
